A lot of people could do with personal hygiene lessons, if the results of a survey on London commuters’ biggest bugbears are anything to go by.
‘Smelly people’ came second in the poll asking Londoners what they hate most about travelling around the capital.
Having to get far too up close and personal with pongy passengers is a consequence of the number one complaint on the list – the old lack of space.
The survey was commissioned by MBNA Thames Clippers which is adding two new boats to its services next month and promoting river travel as a viable alternative to the Tube and buses.
Top 5 things Londoners hate most about their commute:
- Lack of personal space
- Smelly people
- Being bored
- The heat
- Not being able to use your phone
