Londoners might grumble about it but deep down they love it really, and so does the rest of the country – London has been voted the UK's favourite city.
Thanks to the capital’s bars, restaurants and hotels, readers of the Conde Nast Traveller magazine have voted it top for the fifth year running.
Edinburgh came second in the poll, with Bath third.
London was also triumphant in the UK business hotel category.
The Mandarin Oriental in Hyde Park was top followed by the art deco splendour of Claridge's in second and Mayfair's The Connaught in third.
