As summer hits in earnest a hydration campaign aims to quench people's thirst for information.
To raise awareness of how much we should drink a day, excluding alcohol, more than 10 locations across the borough will be visited by the community transport bus with leaflets, mugs and other freebies.
Councillor Christine Elmer, portfolio holder for social affairs, said: "Most people struggle to drink the correct daily amount of fluids and having personally supported an older person in the past few years, I know just how difficult it is to encourage older people to drink water.
"With all the information on the website and the information leaflets being handed out during the visits around the borough, it should make it much easier for everyone to understand why drinking the right amount of water is good for us."
