A sea of pink descended on High Wycombe as hundreds of women took part in the annual Race for Life.
The rain failed to dampen the spirits of the women who ran, jogged or walked their way around the Rye park to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Pupils from Godstowe School in High Wycombe were among the top fundraisers, managing to raise more than £6,000 ahead of yesterday's race.
Kirsten Stilwell, a pupil at Princes Risborough School, was the winner of the race.
