Squatters have moved into a empty building - previously a Chinese restaurant - in Bexleyheath.
At least seven people and five dogs are said to have moved into the former Phoenix Inn restaurant, opposite Pickford Road, on Monday morning (June 1).
People in the area have reported dog excrement, trolleys and bikes littering the area outside the building.
The situation was reported to the police on Monday at around 8.30am.
A police spokesman said: "We have advised the owner of the property the situation is a civil matter, and she should obtain an order from the courts."
