Five men have been charged with robbery and firearms offences after a raid at a post office in Croydon.
They were charged late last night with conspiracy to rob the branch in High Street on Tuesday morning.
Two people were taken to hospital with injuries following the robbery, with a third suffering a minor wound when an unmarked police rolled into a Surrey Street market stall.
Reece Perry, 22, of West Norwood, Shane Petter, 32, of Tulse Hill, Dwayne Ramsey, 34, of no fixed abode, Gary Katabarwa, 27, of Lambeth, and Herbert Kulsumu, 34, of no fixed abode, will all appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a firearm.
Reece Perry also faces a second charge of possession of a firearm and two counts of possessing ammunition without a certificate.
Mr Katabarwa is also charged with possessing ammunition without a certificate.
Russell Smith, 53, who runs a flowers stall in Surrey Street, suffered a gash to his leg when a police car ploughed into the market following the robbery on Tuesday.
The car also badly damaged a vegetarian food stall.
