Three cars have crashed on the M25 near Orpington causing eight miles of traffic.
Emergency services were called at around 3.10pm after three cars collided on the M25 anticlockwise between Junction Five and Junction Four.
Two lanes have been closed as recovery work is carried out.
Traffic is queuing back to Clacket Lane services in Tatsfield, Surrey.
A Kent Police spokesman said no serious injuries have been reported.
A man was given first aid and oxygen therapy by Kent Fire and Rescue before being handed into the care of the ambulance service.
No one was trapped.
