Canada Water station is to be renamed Buxton Water in a first-of-its-kind sponsorship deal.
It will be just for one day though, as part of an agreement for the London Marathon this Sunday.
The temporary change is the first time a Tube station has been named after a sponsor, and the deal is worth to £110,000 to Transport for London (TfL).
As part of the sponsorship, the familiar roundels will have a new name for the day. However, no other signage or maps will be changed.
TfL commercial development director Graeme Craig said: "For one day only, customers will see Canada Water station transformed into Buxton Water station as part of their support of the Virgin Money London Marathon.
"This is a significant deal and the revenue will be reinvested back into our network for the benefit of our customers."
Derbyshire-based Buxton Water one of the marathon's sponsors, supplying the water for the thousands of runners in the 26-mile event.
