Queuing for tickets can be very boring but a giant gingerbread house on London’s South Bank is providing a fairytale ending to make up for it.
An ogre-sized edible ticket office is today selling the first tickets to the Shrek’s Adventure! London attraction opening this July.
The pop-up opened early this morning and will stay as long as the stocks of gingerbread and sweets last, with passers-by able to tuck into pieces of the house.

Shrek’s Adventure! London will be a new attraction from Merlin Entertainments in collaboration with DreamWorks, located at County Hall near the London Eye.
It will feature a new Shrek adventure, with a cast of fairytale characters, themed shows and sets and a 4D bus ride.
