A Chicken Cottage takeaway in Paddington caught fire this morning.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers attended the blaze at the takeaway with flats above it in Praed Street.

Part of the shop’s ducting – the restaurant’s extraction system - was alight as well as part of a flat roof at the rear of the building.
London Fire Brigade was called at 8.34am and received 15 calls about the fire.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
