Problems on the trains and Tube have made it another miserable morning for London commuters.
There was major disruption on the West Coast line due to a signal problem at Wembley Central.
This led to hold-ups between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction/London Euston.
No Southern services were able to run between Milton Keynes Central and Shepherd's Bush, while London Midland operated a reduced service between Tring and Euston.
Virgin Trains was running a reduced service between Manchester Piccadilly/Birmingham New Street and Euston.
On the Tube, a signalling fault at Monument in the City of London led to severe rush-hour delays to Circle line trains as well as to delays on the District line.
To add to travellers' woes, a broken-down train at Streatham Hill meant delays to all services through the station at the heart of the rush-hour.
