No wonder this lot are smiling - they've just grabbed one of the travel bargains of the year.
The queuing kiwis were lucky enough to buy one of ninety £75 return airfares to Auckland offered today by Air New Zealand to celebrate the airline's 75th anniversary.
First in line, outside STA Travel's Victoria store, was New Zealander Nik Van Herpt, below, a 3D artist from New Malden, who queued for more than 30 hours for a ticket so he could fly home to see his mum.
