A man has appeared in court accused of causing the death of a woman who was struck down by a van while jogging.
Mother Louisa Gammie, 39, of Worcester Park, was killed on Old Malden Lane in November.
Shanmugarasa Vinayagasivampillai, of Meadway, Surbiton, appeared at South East Surrey Magistrates’ Court on Monday, charged with her death by dangerous driving.
The charges brought against him also include causing death while uninsured, driving with poor eyesight and driving with an under-inflated tyre.
He allegedly drove a Nissan Primastar van on the day of the crash, November 9.
Mr Vinayagasivampillai has been released on bail and will appear at Guildford Crown Court in April.
