POLICE officers recovered more than 300 cannabis plants at a home in Kenton.
Officers were called to the house in St Paul's Avenue this morning after the landlord made the discovery during a routine visit.
The property had been rented out and when the landlord turned up to check the property he discovered his house was full of the cannabis plants.
PC Athwal, the first officer on the scene from Harrow Police, said: "Forensics are in there at the moment and once everything has been done all the plants will be taken out and destroyed."
EDF employees were at the scene and were repairing the electrics to the house.
PC Athwal added: "They are making the elctricity safe."
And a neighbour who lives next door to the cannabis factory said: "The police were here at 8am. It was a surprise, I hadn't seen anything going on. I just assumed that there wasn't anyone in the property. I hadn't noticed anything at all."
The Harrow Times was not allowed into the property because it was too dangerous according to Will Goddard, a spokesman for Harrow Police.
