Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals is warning people to keep prescription medication well stocked over the bank holiday weekend to avoid visiting accident and emergency.
The NHS Foundation Trust wants people think ahead and prepare for the holidays.
Chief executive Suzanne Rankin said: "Take a quick look in your medicine cabinets. Check and make sure prescription medications are not going to run out over the weekend and that your medicine cabinet is well stocked with simple cold and flu remedies and other over the counter remedies for upset stomach, headaches, other minor illnesses and minor cuts and grazes.
"If you're feeling a little under the weather, make an appointment to see your GP now rather than waiting until your symptoms become worse. By thinking ahead and taking these simple steps you could avoid visiting A&E this Easter."
