More than 200 people came to Hampton’s White House community centre on March 18 for an open day ahead of the centre’s change of management to the YMCA.
The centre, which was opened in 1994 and provides social and leisure activities for the community, will see management passed over to the charity on April 6.
The open day saw residents discuss their ideas for the centre with YMCA staff, with included suggestions for more facilities for the over 50s, and family activities such as baby and parents groups.
