Two men from Swanley and a woman from Orpington have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a Sevenoaks man found with severe head injuries.

Russell Jarrett, 53, from Otford, had been drinking at The Crown pub in Otford High Street on the evening of February 11, and was last seen outside his home in the early hours of February 12.

Later that day ambulance crews received a call to Mr Jarrett’s house, where they found him in his living room suffering from severe head injuries.

He was taken to King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill but died on the morning of February 21.

Following the results of a post-mortem examination, officers from the Kent and Essex serious crime directorate are now treating the death as suspicious.

Two men aged 22 and 25 from Swanley and a 20-year-old woman from Orpington were arrested on suspicion of murder on March 4.

They have all been bailed, pending further enquiries, until May 6.
