Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was raped in Lee.
At around 2.45am on Sunday (March 8), a 29-year-old woman was attacked while walking along Ashwater Road.
The suspect threatened her with a large kitchen knife before raping her and fleeing in the direction of Baring Road.
He is described as a black man, 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing a blue hooded top, believed to be an Adidas make with stripes down the arm.
He was also wearing a sky blue 'bucket hat' and black woollen fingerless gloves.
The woman was taken to a Haven.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
