Two Bromley FC players are out of action after being involved in separate car crashes.

Pierre Joseph-Dubois, 27, and Anthony Cook, 25, are set to be off for a number of weeks due to injuries.

Joseph-Dubois is said to have sustained a severed finger, while recently signed Cook fractured his arm in a separate ‘serious’ car crash.

Both incidents occurred in the last few weeks.

MORE TOP STORIES Ashley Reading, chair of Bromley FC, said: "Pierre severed his finger so that’s had to be stitched up so he will be back playing for us within two weeks.

"Other than that he’s fine.

"Anthony Cook was in a crash about two weeks ago.

"He fractured his arm. It’s not terrible, not too serious but again it’s put him out of action."

Mr Reading added: "It’s desperately bad luck for us both they were involved in car accidents; they’re not connected in any way.

"As much as we’re going to miss them this past week the squad can survive.

"Obviously we want them back playing as soon as possible."
