Scouts learn more about Fairtrade products
Scouts learnt more about Fairtrade products during an activity day at a supermarket.
Sainsbury’s, in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar, invited the 4th Potters Bar Scout group to take part in a Fairtrade themed quiz.
Scouts also took part in a treasure hunt by looking for Fairtrade projects around the shop.
Fairtrade fortnight began on February 23 and will end on March 8. The Fairtrade organisation works to promote food and products such as cotton for which growers receive a 'fair' wage, with benefits for their community.
