CCTV footage has been released in the hunt for a burglar who stole £20,000-worth of jewellery.
Police are appealing for help after the items were stolen from a property in Waltham Road, Woodford Green, on January 22.
Burglars broke into the home by smashing the rear glass patio door and dislodging the frame betweeen 3pm and 4pm.
The victim saw the burglars drive off in a silver coloured car, possibly a Vauxhall Astra.
The man pictured was filmed on a home CCTV system walking away from the property at a fast pace.
The CCTV has been passed to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Met to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
