A Crayford man has admitted drink-driving after crashing his car in Erith over the weekend.
Adam Phillips, 34, of Shearwood Crescent, pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit and failure to stop after a road accident at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday (February 22).
Police were called to Yarnton Way, Erith at 1.37am on Sunday to reports of an abandoned vehicle.
At the scene they found a silver coloured Vauxhall Astra, which had been damaged in a collision. The driver of the car had left the scene.
Officers came upon the driver nearby.
He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment to a cut hand.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Phillips will be sentenced at Bexley Magistrates' Court on March 16.
