A washing machine burst into flames in a house in Singlewell Road, Gravesend, this morning (January 19).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident at 6.36am and found a small fire in the kitchen, which had started in the washing machine.
The power of the washing machine was isolated and crews used breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel jet to tackle the fire.
Three people were evacuated from the property but no one was injured.
