A black Mercedes was stolen after the owner confronted two men in his front garden before noticing his keys were missing, as was his car.

The car was stolen from a house in Weston Park, Weston Green, on Thursday, February 5 at about 5pm.

The owner was watching television when he heard a loud bang at the back of his house and noticed his patio door had been damaged.

He went round to his front garden and saw two men outside who he called out to and who then walked off toward Thames Ditton station.

Later the owner noticed his Mercedes was missing from the driveway, as were two sets of car keys.

The men were white, about 5ft 9in and in their 30s. They were both wearing dark coloured jackets, dark blue jeans and had light coloured scarves covering their mouths.

Detective Constable Carly Humphreys said: "This offence took place at a busy time when people would have been coming home from work and I'm sure someone would have seen something or has information. If you think you recognise these two men from the descriptions or saw them in the area please call Surrey Police on 101 so we can progress this investigation."
