An East Molesey care home is being whipped into shape by a personal trainer.

Three weekly visits see people stretching, arm-waving and leg-kicking to Elvis and The Beatles to keep joints moving and to help toward a healthy lifestyle.

Paula Windmill, manager of Willowmead, said: "Having exciting and stimulating activities is vital at care homes, and these classes are part of that mix, though they are particularly popular.

One of the care home's residents, Della Hennessey, said: "I have a room on top floor, but I always make sure I come down for Amanda's classes, they are just fun and fabulous."
