A young mother has admitted falsely claiming more than £6,000 in housing and council tax benefits.
Hannah Pryor, 23, of Stonebridge Road, Gravesend failed to declare her partner was in paid employment.
She pleaded guilty at Dartford Magistrates' Court to a charge of failing to promptly declare changes in circumstances to Gravesham Borough Council.
Evidence obtained by a council investigation officer found her partner was in paid employment since the claim commenced. She made a full admission during her interview with the council.
Pryor was sentenced to a community order of 60 hours unpaid work and will have repay £6,294.47.
