An appeal has been issued for two men linked to the fly-tipping of carpets in Walton, and the vehicle used.

Surrey Comet:

Peter Kipps, Community Safety Partnership manager, said: "Fly-tipping is a serious concern and we have established a fund to enable us to offer rewards of up to £500 for information which leads to a successful prosecution of offenders.

"If anyone recognises the offender in the CCTV image or know the owners of this vehicle they could be eligible for a community reward if they come forward with information."

An Elmbridge Council spokesman said: "The residents of Thames View House in Walton became the victims of a fly-tip which took place on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at about 4.37pm.

"CCTV cameras captured two men unloading a flatbed truck with registration AO52 VAF, which we believe to be a white, Ford Transit truck, dumping old carpet offcuts and underlay into residents' bins and on to the ground at the rear of the flat under the cover of darkness."

If you have any information on the vehicle, who owns it or the identity of the people call 01372 474474.
