A record number of people attended the 2015 London Model Engineering Exhibition at Alexandra Palace.
The event merges traditional model engineering with remote-controlled trucks and aeroplanes as well as robots and Meccano.
This year over 56 clubs attended the exhibition displaying over 1,500 models and four railways.
The clubs and societies were all competing for the Society Shield, voted for by themselves, which was won by the Harrow & Wembley Society of Model Engineers.
Exhibition manager Avril Spence said: “Our thanks to so many exhibitors both from the clubs and societies and also the specialist suppliers for making this event such a success.”
