A man who has the ‘nicest job in Britain’ started the year volunteering for an autism charity.

Luke Cameron spent a week at Resources for Autism, in Finchley Road, Hampstead Garden Suburb, meeting volunteers, attending sessions and helping raise money.

Mr Cameron is currently being paid to travel the country and provide free support to 45 charities and not-for-profit organisations.

He said: “It’s been a really positive experience so far.

“I’ve seen so much energy and commitment demonstrated by each of the staff members and volunteers in supporting people with autism. I only hope that by being here can help out and promote the charity and share the important work they do.

“It’s been a very inspirational and brilliant first stop on my journey."
