Burglars stole £3,000 worth of items after breaking in through patio doors.

Surrey Comet:

It is thought entry was forced through the doors at the back of the house in Homefield Road, Walton, sometime between 7.30pm and 9pm on Saturday, January 10.

A grey estate car with three or four male occupants was seen in the vicinity and Surrey Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the car, or the men themselves as they may have more information.

A Crown Derby china dinner set, two Royal Doulton figurines, a fake Rolex watch, a Boss watch and a black handbag were taken.

Detective Constable Vicky Garsie said: "It would appear that the offenders were disturbed by the return of the owner who has been left very shaken and upset by the break-in.

"It is possible that this burglary was planned in advance and possible that the perpetrators may have even visited the area in the days prior to the incident to get an understanding of the layout."
