English harmony beat group the Fortunes are celebrating 51 years in showbiz with their 2015 past and present show coming to Epsom.

The intimate performance will include their greatest hits as well as untold anecdotes from their many experiences over the years.

There will also be a moving tribute to founding members Rod Allen and Barry Pritchard who formed the original vocal trio with Glen Dale.

In 1963, they switched to electric guitars and were joined by drummer Andy Brown along with keyboard player David Carr.

Pop impresario Reg Calvert, who was later shot dead in a dispute over pirate radio stations, groomed the Fortunes as a close-harmony unit and they signed to a record label in 1963.

The group's members have changed over the years and the four-piece is currently made up of Michael Smitham, Bob Jackson, Eddie Mooney and Glenn Taylor.

Their hits include You've Got Your Troubles, Here It Comes Again, Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again, Storm in a Teacup and Freedom Come, Freedom Go. On the night expect to hear also songs by groups such as Marmalade, Billy J Kramer’s Dakotas, Del Shannon, Bobby Vee and Love Affair.
