A multi-vehicle crash has closed two lanes of the London-bound A3.
Lanes were blocked following an accident at about 4.50pm.
Police said most of the vehicles were now on the hard shoulder.
Delays were likely, with traffic queuing following the accident between M25 junction 10 Wisley interchange and A245 Portsmouth Road.
