Passengers have directed a torrent of abuse at Southern Rail after a third day of delays on trains on its network.

There was 'dangerous overcrowding' at London Bridge on Monday night.

The station is part way through a £6.5 billion rebuild due to finish in 2018.

On Monday Thameslink, which runs through Sutton, issued an apology for not having enough drivers, saying they needed more training.

From Monday: 'Signalling' problems make thousands of commuters late for first day back at work

South West Trains was also reporting delays until 9.30am on its own lines between Wimbledon and Waterloo due to an earlier broken down train.

Passengers on its services are not able to interchange at Waterloo East for London Bridge as services are not stopping at London Bridge.

Today there have been more delays with passengers making their views known online.

The rail company is tweeting links to its rail improvement plan with a foreword from deputy managing director David Scorey. To see the plan click here.

But it has not convinced some passengers.
