If you were lucky and received more gifts than you know what to do with this Christmas, or were given something you think someone else would appreciate more, re-gift unwanted presents to a charity.

Clear the after Christmas clutter and do some good by helping Princess Alice Hospice to care for its patients and their families.

The Esher hospice has 39 shops ready and waiting for donations of good quality clothing, books, homeware and toys to help raise funds.

Phil Seal, retail director, said: "We've all had gifts that we know we won't use, which are usually put away and forgotten about. so this year make a resolution to do something positive and re-gift those presents to the hospice.

"Your donations will help us to continue to provide care for our patients from across Surrey and south-west London."

The hospice is also looking for local businesses and organisation to host donation stations in their receptions of staff rooms. Princess Alice Hospice will set up the station and return to collect donated goods once it is full.
