A driver was hospitalised after a car and a van collided with each other on a residential street in Dartford.
The collision between a black Vauxhall Astra and a white Ford Transit van happened at around 7.40pm in Heath Street opposite the Circle C convenience store near the junction with North Street.
Kent Fire and Rescue crews were called to assist paramedics in caring for two patients, only one of whom was taken to Darent Valley Hospital to be treated for injuries thought to be minor.
The road was blocked until the vehicles were recovered.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "No one was trapped, we worked to assist paramedics in caring for a patient."
