Random attack occurred in the early hours of December 13
Police are hunting a driver who stabbed a man in a random attack.
A 27-year-old was on a night out with friends in Chingford when the driver of a black car pulled over and stabbed him in the chest.
The victim has since been released from hospital.
Police say they are still trying to establish the circumstances of the attack, but say it was unprovoked.
Officers were called to Endlebury Road at 5.30am on December 13 to reports of a stabbing.
It is believed the attack may have taken place in Simmons Lane or Buckrell Road.
