Over 200 Christmas presents anonymously donated by members of the public to Lewisham Police will be given to vulnerable children in the borough.
As part of the Metropolitan Police Service's Christmas Tree Project, over 200 anonymously donated presents were delivered to staff from Lewisham Council's children's social care team.
These presents will be deilvered to children in the borough who have been identified by social workers as those who will benefit most.
Detective chief inspector Justin Davies, said: "It's a great pleasure for officers from Lewisham Borough Police to work with kind members of the public to spread a bit of joy at Christmas and provide these presents for children at a time when they really need them and show that we care about them."
