A man wanted for allegedly racially abusing people in a library will appear in court today.
A warrant had been issued for the arrest of 31-year-old Petar Vasilev who was charged with allegedly racially abusing people in Wimbledon Library.
Court documents show Mr Vasilev, who gave his address as Queens Road Church in Queens Road, Wimbledon, is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
He has not entered a plea to two counts of racially or religiously aggravated harassment and assaulting a policeman, and damaging the shop window of Moss and Co in Wimbledon Hill Road.
The incidents are alleged to have happened at Wimbledon Library and the business on the same road on Saturday, December 13.
