Haringey kebab shops are in the running in a search for the nation’s best grills.
Six restaurants and take-aways have nominations for the 2015 British Kebab Award, with one shop receiving two nominations.
Diyarbakir, Gokyuzu, Antepliler and Selale, all in Green Lanes, Kebab Delight in Wood Green and Station Kebab in Bounds Green have all been named as among Britain’s best kebab shops.
Prizes will be awarded in categories including best value restaurant, best takeaway, best new restaurant and chef of the year.
The winners will be named at an awards ceremony at Westminster Bridge Hotel in January.
