Detectives have released descriptions of three men they would like to speak to following the stabbing of a 20-year-old in Chessington just over a week ago.

The man was attacked – first punched and then stabbed – in Jubilee Way at about 6pm on Tuesday, November 18.

He was taken to hospital for his injuries but released later that night.

Officers are searching for a black male, aged around 20 to 21-years-old, 5ft 8in in height, of slim build, with a roundish face and short black afro hair. He was wearing a black hooded top and jeans and spoke with a London accent.

Police are also searching for two white men, both aged around 18 to 19-years-old.

One of these men is believed to be around 5ft 10ins, of slim build with an unkempt blonde or brown beard. He was wearing a black woolly hat, a black North Face jacket, a grey top and jeans and also spoke with a London accent.

The other is said to be about 6ft tall, of slim build with a brown goatee style beard and a thick moustache. He was wearing a woolly hat with a red and green band around it with the brand Gucci.

Detective Sergeant Vicky Washington said: "Officers will be visiting the park in the coming days in the hope they get information following last week’s assault.

"Were you here last week? Did you see anything? Fortunately attacks like this are rare on the borough, but nevertheless, we are very keen to speak to anyone who may be able to assist us with this investigation and catch the people responsible.

"The victim was treated for a minor stab wound, treated at hospital then released home but this could have been easily turned into something significantly more serious."
