People will be able to have their say about the borough’s policing with the deputy mayor of London.

The public meeting is one of many taking place across the capital giving people the chance to share their views on crime with deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime Stephen Greenhalgh.

The ‘Your Police, Your Say’ event will take place at Harrow Civic Centre, in Station Road, Harrow, at 6.30pm, and those interested in attending must register beforehand.

Stephen Greenhalgh said: “As our changes to strengthen local policing take effect it’s vital that we hear what local residents and businesses have to say.

“Crime in London is coming down and in Harrow there has been a notable drop, something which the Borough Commander and his team should be recognised for.

"However we know there is more to be done and each borough has its own particular crime and safety issues to contend with.

“I’d encourage local people in Harrow who want to know more about what the Mayor’s Office and the Met Police are doing in their area to come along.”
