A chef is busy whipping up mutton, smoked salmon and sausages with honey and mustard for the Prime Minister.
David Gillott, chef patron of Four Gables Fining Dinning in Ashtead, is making canapés to go in a special hamper for David Cameron which will also include 'Humble Pies' and 'Political Fudge'.
Mr Gillott and his team are also putting on a spread for 150 dignitaries, including the Prime Minister, at the Palace of Westminster tomorrow.
He said: "We are doing a hamper for him to take home of everything good about Surrey food."
Local producers have generously contributed food and drink for the event and hamper.
Local Food Surrey founder Tracy Carroll and Visit Surrey has been involved in organising the lunchtime showcase.
Ms Carroll said: "The support has been tremendous, everyone’s really got behind this and been very generous.
"We have the backing of all Surrey MPs and David Cameron is confirmed to attend. We will be presenting him with a local food hamper which we hope he will share with his family.
"There are some sweet treats in there that I’m sure the children will enjoy tucking into and even a bag of award-winning bread flour from Imbhams Farm Granary as we understand the Prime Minister enjoys a spot of breadmaking - I’m sure it’s very therapeutic."
