A man who was on the brink of committing suicide has turned his life around by writing two books.
James Koumis, who lives in Potters Bar, began suffering from depression after falling into financial difficulties.
The 44-year-old had a full-time job but was not earning enough to pay his bills, and the stress caused him to experience panic attacks.
Mr Koumis has since written two books, The Family Who Are Living Their Dreams and How To Live the Life You Deserve, and Building Property & Masters. He has also developed his own cleaning range, the Aqua Brush blue.
He said: “After my struggle, the things I wanted came true off the back of writing the book. I overcame the obstacles and am going forward with my life how I wanted.”
