Mary Berry gave a talk to 400 women who came to hear about her career and its highs, and the lows of soggy bottoms.
The star of BBC Two's The Great British Bake Off attended a charity fundraising lunch at Epsom Downs Racecourse hosted by Friends of Princess Alice Hospice.
The Woman of Our Time event was held on Friday, November 7, and raised money for the hospice.
Jane Formby, hospice trustee and founder chairman of the friend's association, said: "Mary Berry was a hugely popular speaker and she kept everyone enthralled telling us of the lengthy and meticulous process for selecting the participants in The Great British Bake Off.
"She put us straight about the stories that have appeared in the tabloids and gave us a fascinating insight into the background of the filming process."
