Around 12 suspected illegal immigrants were found in a lorry in Belvedere on Saturday (November 8).
Police were called at around 9.48am to Church Manor Way, Belvedere, by a member of the public who was concerned a lorry container had illegal immigrants inside.
Around 12 people were discovered inside the vehicle trailer, along with 25 tonnes of sugar.
All were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and taken to a south London police station.
They are currently in custody.
