A feline charity is appealing for more people to help take care of cats.
North London Cats Protection, in Archway, is on the hunt for fosterers over the festive period.
Cats are usually fostered for two weeks before being adopted by a new owner.
Fostering helps increase the number of animals Cats Protection can look after.
Volunteer Team Leader, Stephanie Osborne said: “We’ve only got 11 pens here, so without our volunteer fosterers it would be impossible to help the amount of cats in the area that we currently do.”
As of mid October the small adoption centre had taken in 620 furry pets.
