Space for families to grieve will be increased after Procter and Gamble chose a charity that helps bereaved families cope with loss.
The Weybridge company, whose brands include Ariel, Pampers and Gillette, picked Shooting Star Chase as their local charity of the year and hope to raise more than £30,000.
The charity cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions has hospices in Hampton and Guildford that provide space for families to remember those they have lost.
Simon Beresford, head of corporate fundraising, said: "Their support in providing a new memory tree and refurbished garden will mean so much to bereaved families who are going through an indescribably difficult time."
