Shoppers in Gravesend town centre were confronted by cybermen, daleks and Titan the robot, as well as pop stars and a paralympian.
On Saturday (November 1) a sci-fi funday was organised by town centre manager Graham Long while a Doctor Who mini convention, at the Old Town Hall, was arranged by maternity manager Paul Seymour to raise funds for Little Buds Charity - the Special Care Baby Unit at Darent Valley Hospital.

Patrons of the charity - Cheryl Baker, of Bucks Fizz fame, and paralympian skier Charlotte Evans MBE - were also on hand to start the auction of Dr Who memorabilia.
Meanwhile Titan the robot held crowds captivated in New Road during three performances of comic robotic charm, music and mirth alongside a full size Tardis which had teleported into town for the day.

The event raised £1366.22 for Little Buds with more to follow as some auction items weren’t sold and will add to a future total.

Town centre manager Graham Long said: "The sci fi event was really successful this weekend and there was a great atmosphere in town.
"We are all really looking forward to the Christmas events now and Gravesham’s White Christmas is set to be bigger and better than last year."
