A car drove into a takeaway restaurant in Bexleyheath on Saturday (November 1).
Shortly after 4pm, a gold Ford Focus crashed through the front of Onamika Indian takeaway, Erith Road, near Barnehurst station.
James Philpot, 30, of Bexley Road, saw the incident and alerted the police.
He said: "The driver had been frantically driving around trying to look for a place to park.
"She mounted the curb at about 30 miles an hour and just went full speed ahead straight into the shop.
"It was like a bomb. There was a lot of smoke. She just walked straight out of the shop and then ran away. Then after a bit she came back.
"The were so many people around, about 30 people within the next 30 seconds. Everyone in the shops ran out straight away."
There were no arrests and no one was injured in the incident.
