A 23-year-old man will appear in court today accused of setting fire to a Greenwich petrol station.
Daniel Mulligan, from Islington, was yesterday charged with one count of arson with intent being reckless as to whether life was endangered.
He will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.
Police launched an appeal after a man was seen at around 6.30am on September 30 approaching a BP petrol station in Trafalgar Road, squirting petrol on the floor and setting it alight.
A member of the public used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.
